[UW Photo A122] Through a frame
(Location: Rangoon Wreck, Unawatuna, Galle, Sri Lanka)
Shipwrecks are great objects to photograph underwater. One of the key techniques I use in shooting within the vicinity of a shipwreck is combining the wreck with fish or other objects of the ecosystem. Most importantly, it gives a room to frame the nature with rustic decaying shapes of the wreck which I enjoy doing. Anyway, giving a natural frame is a great practice even land photographers do. No matter what, this adds some aesthetic value to the image.
